Privacy policy for our car apps.

Who we are. The apps are developed by Hello Delorus AB (org. no. 559610-4306, Stockholm, Sweden), published on Google Play under the developer name Sharlatech. We are the data controller for everything described here.

What we collect. Our apps have no user accounts and ask for no personal details. To keep the apps reliable, an app may include Google Firebase, which collects a limited set of technical data: crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics), performance measurements such as start-up time (Firebase Performance Monitoring), and anonymous usage counts with standard fields like app version, device model, and an approximate region derived from your IP address (Firebase Analytics). Google processes this data as our service provider. It is not sold and not shared with advertisers, and the apps do not use the Android advertising ID.

What we do not collect. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location (GPS coordinates), or the contents of your activity in the app. There is no account, no login, and no personal profile, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

On-device data. Each app reads only the in-car signals it needs from the vehicle hardware abstraction layer (VHAL) and processes them on the device. Scores, history, and preferences are stored in the app's private on-device storage. That data never leaves your vehicle and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Permissions. The apps declare only the permissions they need. Car permissions are used on-device. The one permission common to apps that include Firebase is internet access, used solely to send the Firebase technical data described above.

Third parties. The only third-party service is Google Firebase (Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, and Analytics), and only in apps that include it. Firebase needs Google Play Services and an internet connection to send the technical data above. We do not integrate advertising networks, social media plugins, or any other third-party services. Google's handling of this data is described in the Firebase Privacy and Security terms.

Data deletion. You remain in control of your data. Uninstalling an app permanently deletes its on-device history and preferences from your vehicle. The only information sent off the device is the Firebase technical data described above, in apps that include Firebase.

Children. Our apps are designed for adult vehicle operators and are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page.
